Talk: “Process oriented approach to Agile Software Development”
Distributed teams raises number of challenges to classical Agile model. Due to different locations and time zones communication is limited, and full day planning sessions is hard to achieve.
Presented paper proposes different approach in which each developer is responsible for single User Story. As soon as the work is done on one story then next one with highest priority is taken from Release Backlog. One can notice similarity of this approach with factory production, where another piece of rough material is being processed as soon as previous one is completed.
The author describes implications of implementing this approach in life project, presenting detailed pros and cons of this method.
